What is Foundation Course?
A foundation course is a programme that will prepare a student for an undergraduate degree at university. It’s for international students who did not meet the direct entry requirements for Bachelor’s course. It can be because either they didn’t meet the required English score or their academic score was below that is needed for a particular Bachelor’s course. For example, students with IELTS 4.5 to 5.5 get into Foundation course.
Their course duration is usually 2 or 3 terms which is about 6 or 9 months. You can choose to study from an art & design, business & management, Law, science or engineering related fields.
