UK University Entry Requirements for Ghana Students
UK universities consider all applications on their merit and welcome Ghana students with various qualifications and experience. Ghana students applying to UK universities don’t always need to take the IELTS exam either and can often provide a letter of exemption if eligible.
Undergraduate:
Diploma. Students with exceptionally good grades (all A/B) in SSSCE and other qualifications/work may be considered. Minimum CGPA or FGPA of 2.7.
Four-year degree including a foundation year
Students who fall slightly below the standard requirements for an undergraduate course may be considered for an available or appropriate foundation year degree programme.
Postgraduate
Applicants need a second class degree/CGPA or FGPA 2.7 minimum for master’s

English Requirements:
West African Senior School Certificate Examination: Grade C6 in English Language
Non-EEA nationals who require a Tier 4 student visa must provide a Secured English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS or Pearson PTE Academic qualification.
