The most crucial thing for international student planning to study abroad is to pack all necessary paperwork. Make copy of all relevant documents as well. After landing in the airport, you will be needed to complete various formalities for which you will need some supporting documents. Here is a list of documents you may need for your trip.

  1. Passport
  2. CV
  3. Letter of Recommendations
  4. University offer letter/Admission Letter
  5. Final letter from University
  6. Passport size photos
  7. Accommodation Contract
  8. Educational documents (Transcripts & Certificates)
  9. Health Certificate, Covid-19 certificate, etc.
  10. Flight documents

Your travel documents are the most important items you will pack for your trip. Remember, you can buy many of the things you need when you arrive, but you must have original copies of these documents to enter the country.

You should carry originals of all of these documents in a personal bag that stays with you at all times. Do not pack travel documents in your checked bag. You will need to be able to access most of them during your trip.

Make photocopies of all documents and pack the photocopies in a different bag from the originals. That way, if one of your bags is lost or stolen, you can more easily replace these essential documents.
